While tour bus drivers are usually the ones issuing the tickets, there was a shock for tour bus ticket sellers parked illegally on O'Connell St. this week... A Garda car turned up and ticketed the vehicles for being parked in a bus lane and clearway!Personally, it annoys the hell out of me that both Dublin Bus & Dualway park along the street blocking bus stops and the traffic flow. While RH103 is sitting proud at its official stop, its the buses parked a long the rest of the street, in particular near the Abbey St. junction which make things dangerous.
Here's hoping the Gardai are working on a more visible campaign to rid the street of this unnecessary tour bus parking!
